Choices
Many women understand the
situation you are in and know what you are going through.
Whether you are younger or older, single or married, you do have
options to consider. No matter what your situation is,
experiencing an unplanned pregnancy can be a very stressful time
in your life. Right now you are faced with choosing to parent
your child, place your child for adoption, or terminate your
pregnancy. In order to make the right decision, you need to know
everything about each of these options. It is important to
remember that no matter what you decide, it will affect you,
both emotionally and physically, for the rest of your life. It’s
important to talk with someone about what you are feeling.
The Pregnancy and Birth Parent
Services program at LSS has been providing comprehensive
non-directive decision making counseling services to Minnesota
women facing unplanned pregnancies for over 100 years. We
believe that each and every person facing the stress of an
unplanned pregnancy has a very personal decision to make. As
pregnancy services professionals it is our responsibility to
know the options available, have a basic knowledge of the
implications of the different options, and provide information
and education on each option.
Each person is unique in their
decision making process. In the Pregnancy and Birth Parent
program at LSS, we will remain a neutral, listening presence.
